seeking consular processing and was denied. What should I do?

    You need to give us a copy of the denial notice so that we can determine the basis for the denial. If the basis was for illegally reentering after having been in the United States illegally for more than one year, the Department of State will not issue the visa since there is a permanent 10 year bar. There is some conflicting authority on this issue, so it will be worth speaking to us about it. Thanks for your question.

    If he has several felonies, we will need to know what those are and whether they arise to being inadmissible offenses, since not all felonies are inadmissible offenses.
